Progressions in A — C6 Pedal Steel

Every chord the key of A owns, placed on the C6 neck's ten strings.

A major harmonises to A – Bm – C#m – D – E – F#m – G#°; A minor to Am – B° – C – Dm – Em – F – G. Each chord links to its C6 Pedal Steel page, so a key becomes a short list of places for the bar.

On a pedal steel the chords of a key are rarely far apart: the bar stays put wherever it can while a pedal or knee lever turns one chord into the next. Under each workhorse progression every change is drawn that way — the bar position, which pedals and levers go down or come up, both charts, and a Hear button that bends the ringing strings into the next chord.
