Progressions in Db — Lap Steel
Every chord the key of Db owns, placed on the lap steel's six strings in C6.
Db major harmonises to Db – Ebm – Fm – Gb – Ab – Bbm – C°; C# minor to C#m – D#° – E – F#m – G#m – A – B. Each chord links to its Lap Steel page, so a key becomes a short list of places for the bar.
On a lap steel the chords of a key are fret distances: the tuning spells one chord open, and every other chord in the key is somewhere the bar can slide to — or a slant, or not there at all.
