Progressions in B — Lap Steel

Every chord the key of B owns, placed on the lap steel's six strings in C6.

B major harmonises to B – C#m – D#m – E – F# – G#m – A#°; B minor to Bm – C#° – D – Em – F#m – G – A. Each chord links to its Lap Steel page, so a key becomes a short list of places for the bar.

On a lap steel the chords of a key are fret distances: the tuning spells one chord open, and every other chord in the key is somewhere the bar can slide to — or a slant, or not there at all.
